Are PREKURE courses recognised through the NZQA?

PREKURE is not a recognised TEO, our Health Coach Certificate does not gain you credits against your RoA with the NZQF.

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has evaluated the Health Coach Certificate (Micro-credential) delivered by PreKure and has assessed it to be equivalent to 30 credits (300 notional learning hours) at Level 5 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF). Included in the Health, Nutrition & Metabolic, Mental Health and Master Coach Programs.

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has evaluated the Advanced Certificate in Mental Health (Micro-credential) delivered by PreKure and has assessed it to be equivalent to 30 credits (30x10 notional learning hours) at Level 7 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF). Included in the Mental Health and Master Coach Programs.

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has evaluated the Certificate in Nutritional Science (Micro-credential) delivered by PreKure and has assessed it to be equivalent to 21 credits (210 notional learning hours) at Level 5 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF). Included in the Nutrition & Metabolic and Master Coach Programs.

PREKURE's training is assessed with micro-credential equivalency on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQF). This provides our students with a guide as to the level of our learning against the framework.

Only recognised tertiary education organisations (TEOs) can apply for micro-credentials that can be listed against your Record of Achievement (RoA). The Health Coach Certificate is however, still a highly regarded certification, assessed at micro-credential equivalency of level 5 on the NZQF, approved by the Health Coaches Association of Australia and New Zealand (HCANZA), and endorsed by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGPs) for CME/CPD.

This ensures that the integrity and focus of our courses are maintained, allowing us to provide the highest quality education tailored to our specific field of expertise.
