Can I register with ACC as a health coach?

Currently the Health Coach Programme does not qualify individuals as medical practitioners for ACC registration. It may be recognised as a valuable credential in the future as the healthcare field evolves and regulatory bodies like ACC periodically review and update their criteria.

You are encouraged to contact HCANZA, the professional body for health coaches in Australia and New Zealand, to see if there are any ongoing efforts to get Health Coaches recognised by ACC.
