How do I create a Google Calendar?
✅ If You’re Using a Web Browser (on desktop):

Go to Google Calendar
Open your browser and go to: https://calendar.google.com -
Sign in to your Google Account
If you're not already signed in, log in using your Google log in details. (If you do not have a Google (Drive) Account, then click here for instructions to create a Google (Drive) Account -
On the left-hand menu, find “Other calendars”
Scroll down in the left sidebar until you see “Other calendars”. -
Click the “+” next to “Other calendars”
A small menu will appear. -
Select “Create new calendar”

Give your calendar a name and description

Name: E.g., “PREKURE”.

Description (optional): Add context if needed

Time zone: Should auto-detect, but make sure it’s correct

Click “Create calendar”
You’ll get a message that the calendar was created successfully. -
Go back to the main calendar view
Your new calendar will now appear under “My calendars” on the left side.
✅ If You’re Using the Google Calendar Mobile App (iOS or Android):
The mobile app doesn’t support creating brand new calendars directly in the app.
Instead, follow the steps using a desktop browser or mobile browser in Desktop mode (as in use your browser on your phone, ie Chrome or Safari.
Optional: Customize Your Calendar

Color: Click the three dots next to the calendar name in “My calendars” to change its color.

Sharing: Click on the calendar settings to share it with others (via email or public link).

Notifications: Set up reminders for events.
