How do I create a Google Drive?

Steps to Create a Google (Drive) Account

  1. Go to the Google Sign-Up Page:

  2. Fill in Your Personal Information:

    • First and last name

    • Desired email address (you can create a new Gmail address or use an existing one)

    • Password (make it strong and secure)

    • Confirm the password

  3. Click “Next”

  4. Verify Your Phone Number (optional but recommended):

    • Enter your mobile number to receive a text message for verification.

    • This helps with account security and password recovery.

  5. Enter Recovery Info (optional):

    • Add a recovery email address and your date of birth/gender.

    • These help in case you lose access to your account.

  6. Agree to the Terms:

    • Read and accept Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  7. Account Created!

    • Once completed, you’ll be redirected to your new Google Account dashboard.

Once your account is ready:

  1. Go to https://drive.google.com

  2. If prompted, log in with your new Google account.
