# How do I remove a subscribed calendar from my Google calendar?

### **On Desktop (via web browser)**

1. **Open Google Calendar**
   
     - Go to calendar.google.com and sign in if needed.
2. **Find the calendar under "Other calendars"**
   
     - On the left sidebar, scroll to the **“Other calendars”** section.
     - Hover your mouse over the calendar you want to remove.
3. **Click the X or Options menu**
   
     - If you see an **X** icon next to the calendar, click it to **unsubscribe** immediately.
     - If not, click the **three-dot menu (⁝)** next to the calendar name and choose **"Settings"**.
4. **Unsubscribe**
   
     - Scroll down to the bottom of the settings for that calendar and click **"Unsubscribe"**.
     - Confirm if prompted.

### **On Mobile (Google Calendar App)**

Unfortunately, you **cannot remove a subscribed calendar directly from the mobile app**. You will need to use a web browser on a computer or mobile device to access the full settings.

### **Important Notes**

- Removing or unsubscribing from a calendar **only affects your view** — it does not delete the calendar itself.
- If it's a **shared calendar** from a colleague or organisation, unsubscribing will simply stop it from showing on your calendar view.
