How do I remove a subscribed calendar from my Google calendar?

On Desktop (via web browser)

  1. Open Google Calendar

  2. Find the calendar under "Other calendars"

    • On the left sidebar, scroll to the “Other calendars” section.

    • Hover your mouse over the calendar you want to remove.

  3. Click the X or Options menu

    • If you see an X icon next to the calendar, click it to unsubscribe immediately.

    • If not, click the three-dot menu (⁝) next to the calendar name and choose "Settings".

  4. Unsubscribe

    • Scroll down to the bottom of the settings for that calendar and click "Unsubscribe".

    • Confirm if prompted.

On Mobile (Google Calendar App)

Unfortunately, you cannot remove a subscribed calendar directly from the mobile app. You will need to use a web browser on a computer or mobile device to access the full settings.

Important Notes

  • Removing or unsubscribing from a calendar only affects your view — it does not delete the calendar itself.

  • If it's a shared calendar from a colleague or organisation, unsubscribing will simply stop it from showing on your calendar view.

Let me know if you want to delete a calendar you own — the steps are slightly different.
