How do I remove a subscribed calendar from my Google calendar?
On Desktop (via web browser)
-
Open Google Calendar
-
Go to calendar.google.com and sign in if needed.
-
-
Find the calendar under "Other calendars"
-
On the left sidebar, scroll to the “Other calendars” section.
-
Hover your mouse over the calendar you want to remove.
-
-
Click the X or Options menu
-
If you see an X icon next to the calendar, click it to unsubscribe immediately.
-
If not, click the three-dot menu (⁝) next to the calendar name and choose "Settings".
-
-
Unsubscribe
-
Scroll down to the bottom of the settings for that calendar and click "Unsubscribe".
-
Confirm if prompted.
-
On Mobile (Google Calendar App)
Unfortunately, you cannot remove a subscribed calendar directly from the mobile app. You will need to use a web browser on a computer or mobile device to access the full settings.
Important Notes
-
Removing or unsubscribing from a calendar only affects your view — it does not delete the calendar itself.
-
If it's a shared calendar from a colleague or organisation, unsubscribing will simply stop it from showing on your calendar view.
Let me know if you want to delete a calendar you own — the steps are slightly different.
