What are the CPD requirements?

Submit an annual declaration of current professional body registration, and Mental Health Coaches confirm four supervision sessions.

Each year you may be asked to submit a declaration that you are registered with, and therefore maintaining your professional development (CPD) through, a Health Coaching or other health professional body (e.g. HCANZA, UKIHCA, Physiotherapy NZ etc). If you are a Mental Health Coach, you will also need to confirm that you have completed your required 4 x annual supervision sessions.

Each year you simply need to complete an annual declaration that you hold a current registration through a Health Coaching or other professional body (e.g. HCANZA, UKIHCA, Physiotherapy NZ etc). If you are a Mental Health Coach, you will also need to declare that you have completed your required 4 x annual supervision sessions.

Completing your annual declaration will provide you with:

  • Continued use of the PREKURE Health Coach brand name and mark.

  • A listing in PREKURE’s Find a Health Coach online directory, subject to approval.

You may be emailed every 12 months on your graduation anniversary to complete your declaration.

You do need to join a professional association within 3 years of graduating from PREKURE. HCANZA will consider membership for those beyond 3 years from graduation on a case-by-case basis with evidence of relevant CPD during those 3 years.
